Why do I need to use Flower Food?
When flowers are still attached to their plant, they get a steady supply of water, nutrients, and natural growth boosters, like the goodness found in our Organic Seaweed! But once they’re cut, that nourishment stops. That’s where our Organic Flower Food comes in! It gives flowers everything they need to stay fresh, vibrant, and beautifully scented, all with natural ingredients, no harsh chemicals in sight!

A Natural Way to Keep Flowers Fresh – Small Change, Big Impact
We created our organic cut flower food because we believe fresh flowers should be enjoyed naturally, without the hidden chemicals. While 5ml of regular flower food might not seem like much, when you think about the £850 million worth of cut flowers sold in the UK every year, that adds up to a huge amount of chemicals being washed into our water systems. Our eco-friendly, organic formula keeps flowers fresher for longer, without the nasties—so you can enjoy beautiful blooms while being kinder to the planet.

What’s inside our product?
What’s inside our product?
Well, just like Red Bull, Coke, and your Gran’s famous cottage pie, the exact recipe is a closely guarded secret! But here’s what we can tell you, our formula includes:
Organic sucrose – a natural food source for flowers
An organic acidifier – to keep the pH just right
An organic bacteria inhibitor – to keep water fresh
Some clever organic ingredients – to help flowers absorb more water and stay fresher for longer
All-natural, no harsh chemicals, just fresh, happy blooms!
Should I add more than 5g per serving?
Should I add more than 5g per serving?
Nope! Our Organic Flower Food is carefully balanced to give cut flowers just the right amount of nourishment, too much or too little can actually do more harm than good.
Too much? A little extra won’t hurt, but doubling the dose could lead to burnt leaves and discoloured stems.
Too little? Even using 20% less than recommended might cause slow-opening buds, faded colours, weak scents, and droopy petals.
Stick to the recommended amount for the freshest, longest-lasting blooms!
Do I still need to cut the flower stems?
Do I still need to cut the flower stems?
Yes! Always use a clean, sharp knife or flower shears instead of scissors. Scissors can crush the stem and make it harder for your flowers to drink up water. A clean, fresh cut is best, so trim about 2cm off the bottom of the stem for happier, longer lasting blooms!
Tip! Only Remove Leaves Below the Waterline
You don’t need to strip your flowers bare, just remove any leaves below the waterline. Leaves sitting in water create the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, which can shorten your flowers’ lifespan. But don’t go overboard! Leaves help with water uptake, so keep the ones above water for fresher, longer-lasting blooms
