Returns Policy

 

At The Shropshire Seaweed Company, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

1. It must be in the same condition as when you received it.

2. It must be unopened or unused.

3. It must be in its original packaging.

4. You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at store@sea-chem.co.uk. If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how to send your package back. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can assess the issue and offer a replacement, exchange, or refund where applicable.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If your return is due to a fault on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective item), we will cover the return shipping costs.
  • If you are returning an item for any other reason, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless otherwise agreed.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, the quickest way is to return your original item first. Once your return is accepted, place a new order for the item you want.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • It may take 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
